Throughout his professional life, Gordon Dymowski has worked with technology and online communication. Starting with an Epson purchased for his mother’s accounting business, he began exploring the world of online BBS, and developed a passion for online communication and community-building.
This experience helped Gordon in his work for variety of community-oriented efforts and organizations, including the Salvation Army Midland Division, the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse in St. Louis, Grace Hill Settlement House, the Chicago Red Cross, and various other organizations. Integrating his experience in online marketing in the public sector, Gordon has also worked with a variety of larger agencies and clients, driving word of mouth for a variety of consumer and business brands. Expanding his reach, Gordon consulted with a variety of other initiatives, driving word-of-mouth for small neighborhood businesses and local nonprofits as well as professional associations and Fortune 500 companies.
As a volunteer, Gordon has also worked towards building online and offline communities. With a smart, informed focus on popular culture, Gordon writes for a variety of outlets, many of which are listed on his personal website. Gordon has also had various pieces of short fiction published in a variety of anthologies available via his Amazon Author page.
Gordon has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University, and Integrated Marketing Communications certification from DePaul Kellstadt School of Business.
